For OnePlus supporters, today is a momentous day. The business teased its first mechanical keyboard and, more appropriately for the phone-maker, its first Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad, along with the launch of the new OnePlus 11 phone and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 wireless earbuds. The 11.6-inch display on the green tablet covered in aluminum curls into the body, giving it an 88% screen-to-body ratio.
The Pad’s 7:5 screen, an industry first, and 144Hz refresh rate should make it ideal for gaming and smooth-looking video. Dolby Vision is supported by the display, while OnePlus’ omni-bearing sound field technology, which switches between the right and left channels depending on where the screen is positioned, is supported by the speaker system.
According to OnePlus’ release, the 9,510-mAh battery in the OnePlus Pad can play video for more than 14.5 hours and remain on standby for one month. Additionally, it enables 67-watt high-speed charging, which charges its big battery in just 80 minutes.
Pricing and availability have not yet been disclosed, but they will be in the upcoming weeks. No matter the cost, it will nevertheless include a OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard and a OnePlus Stylo stylus. This could make it a strong rival to products like the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro, Huawei MatePad Pro, and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8.
